Maeveisms

Maeve says the funniest things. Here are a few:

"Having a prophet makes Maeve feel zoomy"

"Tell me what you are writing." - Grandma Donna
"I really can't read my writing"

When Joel told her he did not like to be criticized for how he filled her milk cup, she replied, "I hear you and that is important"

She recently started eating more foods when we pointed out that Jude is refusing to eat things that she refuses to eat. She has eaten what was for dinner the last two nights so that "Jude will eat his food".

Oh dear Maeve, I take back all those times I said you were crazy, had a split personality, were possibly bipolar... at least until tomorrow.

Adelle Remke

Always adventurous
Dying to know everything
Ever wandering
Loving to read
Living my life every day
Even through the rain

Riled up
Excited about everything
Mild feelings
Kicking through it all
Eager to go anywhere

She is such a little poet.
(the poems I wrote in grade school using the letters in my name were never this creative)

The Journey of a Book

I love reading. I read many types of stories, but not non-fiction books because I like fantasy. I sometimes read five books all at once. I know that makes me sound unusual, but I read one in the morning, one after breakfast, one before lunch, one after lunch, and one right before bed. My newest favorite is Fable Haven. It is a very good series so far. My friend in California, Ben, told me that I read too much and should get on with life. I told him no way, and I would read all my life. He did not seem happy about that. I will not stop reading until someone interrupts me. I started reading Harry Potter at age six so I could finish before my cousin, who is a year older than me. My mom read things to me when I was little, and still does. The book we are reading now is Little Women. It is a classic so some words are hard to understand. When I start a new book, I get taken into the world of the story so nothing around matters. I hope I will never stop reading as I love the journey.

Eva's Quilt

I finished this quilt for my niece, Eva, just hours before our first meeting. I love how it turned out. And so did her mom, which is the important part. It is a really late first birthday gift and an early second birthday gift. I am just glad to finally met her!

I was inspired by my sister's friend who was inspired by crazy mom quilts. It was fun to make, though I did become obsessed towards the end in order to finish it on time. And, amazingly, it didn't make me get behind in my classes.

My background

They warned me but I didn't listen. Now my background is gone and I don't know how to replace it. Any help out there? Sueight??
