The Piano

A few weeks ago Joel found a free piano on craigslist. After renting a piano dolly, we were able to talk several friends into helping move it. When I first saw it coming into our apartment two things stuck out; it was not a little upright and it smelled like an ashtray. But after a few weeks we have gotten use to it taking up half the room and the smell is considerably less. Yesterday Jude decided that he was going to fix the stuck piano key on it with his tool set. He brought his set out, dumped it on the floor, grabbed a wrench, and went to the piano, pushing every key until he found the stuck one. The wrench did not work out so he repeated this process several times with different tools. When he decided that the saw would be the best tool I was glad that he was still looking for the stuck key each time instead of just hacking away at the piano! He is so cute and funny. I love just watching him throughout the day.
